Programme

Overview

For cyclists who like to explore remote and exotic places by bike, we offer a guided MTB tour in Georgia through the breathtaking mountain scenery of Guria and Ajara. This trip is for participants who like to ride on gravel roads and can handle up to 1900 metres of altitude per day.

You can observe the everyday life of the locals and experience their hospitality. This region is an ideal destination for MTB – Cycling in Georgia.

During the entire bike tour, the group will be supported by a support vehicle that will transport our luggage to the next accommodation (if a participant in the group finds a route too demanding, they can also comfortably cover this section with the support vehicle).

Our accommodation is usually in guesthouses where we will find delicious food and a hot shower every day. Only in the Chirukhi Mountains do we have very basic accommodation in an alpine hut.

We usually provide bicycles locally, but there is also the option of bringing your own bike or at least pedals and saddle, which we will be happy to adjust. The trip lasts a total of seven days and ends in Batumi on the Black Sea.

After the trip, participants have various options for how to proceed: they can spend a few days relaxing on the beach or we can organise additional activities for an extra charge.

If participants do not have any further plans, we will take them directly to Tbilisi. Details can be discussed at the time of booking.

Please note: the tour can also be booked as an individual trip.

Here we will have the opportunity to observe the daily lives of the locals and take photos.

At the end of the plateau, an exciting descent on a gravel road awaits us. We will not return to the asphalt road until we reach the village of Khablashvilebi.
