Programme

Overview

Although there are no official cycle paths in Georgia like there are in European countries, interest in bicycle tours in Georgia has increased significantly in recent years.

We are pleased to offer Bike tours in this beautiful country, including an 11-day guided bicycle tour of Georgia – ‘Cycling in the Caucasus’.

Based on our many years of experience and knowledge of the country, we have carefully selected routes and areas for bicycle tours that are scenic and culturally appealing and have little traffic.

Most of the roads are asphalted, but we still recommend that our guests use mountain bikes, as Georgia is a mountainous country. We usually provide bicycles locally, but you are also welcome to bring your own bike or at least your own pedals and saddle, which we will be happy to fit to your bike.

During the tour, the group will always be accompanied by a minibus so that anyone for whom a part of the route is too strenuous has the option of covering that part by bus.

Please note: The trip can also be booked as an individual tour. Best time to bike in Georgia is June – October. More about the best time to travel to Georgia SEE HERE.

Tour Guide

The tour is led by Giorgi Liaprteliani, an experienced cyclist and English-speaking tour guide in Georgia. With him, you will learn and experience many interesting things about Georgia.
