The best travel times for round trips in Georgia is from early May to mid-November. Because during our cultural tours we explore both mountainous and lower-lying areas and experience different climates and temperatures, you should know some subtleties about the best time to travel around Georgia: We divide this time into three parts:

1: from the beginning of May to the end of June

2: from the beginning of July to the end of August

3: from the beginning of September to the end of October

Each of these periods has advantages and disadvantages. You will certainly make the best choice for you when you consider which experiences you would like to have and enjoy. We would like to describe each period in detail:

Middle of May to end of June

Disadvantages: Some rainy days and high humidity. In the mountain regions it can be cold and overcast, with remnants of snow on the hiking trails. The mountains are not yet green.

Beginning of September to end of October

Disadvantages: It gets cooler in the mountain regions and the meadows lose their beauty. Many tourists are also travelling during this time.

Advantages: Stable weather with clear air, particularly favourable for the view of the mountains. The autumn colours begin in mid-September and last until the end of October. In the wine-growing regions, you can witness the traditional grape harvest.
