For example, think about tire repair kits, multitools and spare tubes. You should also not forget things like a helmet, a rain jacket, a first-aid kit, glasses and similar items.

We also recommend that you have tasty snacks or easily transportable food with you. This way, you are well prepared in case there are no shops in remote areas.
Maps and GPS: Take a detailed map or GPS with you, as some regions of Georgia are not well signposted..

Helmet: Please always wear a helmet and pay attention to the traffic. In the cities, traffic can be quite chaotic. Therefore, it is important that you are particularly careful.

Road conditions: Although this is not always perceived, some roads are in poor condition, especially in remote areas or in the mountains. Please drive carefully and adjust your speed accordingly.
Street dogs: There are many street dogs in Georgia. They are usually not aggressive, but sometimes they react uneasily to cyclists. It is good to have a few pieces of bread with you for them.
This lets them know that you are not a threat. If necessary, you should get off your bike and push it about 20-30 metres to keep your distance.
