We are happy to offer you a jeep tour Georgia. With its impressive mountain landscapes, Georgia is a fascinating destination for off-road adventures and jeep tours.
Our guided 14-day jeep tour is ideal for guests who enjoy the challenge of driving 4×4 vehicles on gravel roads in the steppe-like landscape, as well as on mountain and pass roads.
Our tour programme takes you through the most beautiful regions of the country, allowing you to visit breathtaking mountain areas and giving you insights into the culture and life of the local population. The famous Georgian cuisine and exquisite wines add the finishing touches to your travel experience.
Of course, we also organise tailor-made trips for individual travellers who want to explore as a self-driver in Georgia without accompaniment. All you need is a valid driving licence in EU countries. Thanks to our reliable partners, our vehicles, mostly Toyota or Nissan, are technically well equipped. All vehicles are insured.
Today we travel to Tsalka, a small town near Tbilisi. The region is known for its megalithic structures from pre-Christian times. There we visit a famous gorge through which the river Chrami flows. We also visit the old German village of Trialeti.
We will spend the night in Tsalka, in a Soviet-era hotel on the shore of Lake Tsalka.
Meals: breakfast, dinner
Accommodation: Tsalka / in a guest house
Today’s stage is undoubtedly one of the highlights of our jeep tour Georgia. On the way, we will pass the Tskhratskaro Pass and the Tabatskuri Reserve in the Lesser Caucasus, which offers a breathtaking panorama with its mountain lake and picturesque village.
Ancient Bronze Age kurgans and paved trade routes add to the atmosphere and make the drive unforgettable. Near Tsalka we see the ruins of Avranlo Castle, an impressive example of megalithic culture.
In the Ktsia-Tabatskuri nature reserve, we have the opportunity to observe the life of nomadic families who live in the mountains with their herds during the summer. Finally, we reach the famous winter resort of Bakuriani, where our guests have the opportunity to bathe in the hot sulphur springs in the open air.
Meals: breakfast, dinner
Overnight stay: Borjomi / at the hotel
One of the most spectacular passes on our jeep tour Georgia is undoubtedly the Zekari Pass, which lies between South and West Georgia and leads to the Imereti region. The route to the pass takes us through the well-known resort of Abastumani.
Abastumani has been a well-known high-altitude health resort with natron and sulphur thermal springs since the 19th century. Because of the exceptionally clear air and warm water, a fascinating observatory has been built in the mountains, which is well worth a visit.
Even the Russian imperial family was impressed by the unique landscape and had a summer palace built here.
If we are lucky enough to have clear air at the pass, we can see the entire mountain range of the Greater Caucasus from there and enjoy the view to the full.
